These updates focus on enhancing default policy management, customizing mailbox properties, and improving guest account access.
What's new?
1. Default Policy Limits
This new capability offers enhanced control over how default policies are applied, allowing greater control by system administrators.
- Day-Specific Limits: Administrators can now choose specific days of the week for applying default policies, providing more strategic and less disruptive policy enforcement.
- Resource-Specific Limits: There is now an option to limit the maximum number of resources of a specific type that a default policy can apply to during a policy scan.

2. Custom Field Properties Management
This upgrade improves the customization and management of Room Mailboxes and Equipment Mailboxes. Administrators can now manage which specific properties of Room and Equipment Mailboxes can be updated by users.
- Delegation of Property Fields: You can delegate specific fields such as "Country," "Capacity," and "Address" to resource owners. This delegation allows for more localized management and ensures that those closest to the resources have the authority to update relevant information.

3. Enhanced Guest Policy Management
This update introduces the ability to automatically enforce policies regarding guest accounts, providing greater control over your organization's communication channels.
- Automatic Guest Removal: Administrators can now configure policies to automatically remove guest members from distribution lists when the assigned template does not permit guest accounts.
- Template-Based Enforcement: The policy applies specifically to distribution lists that are governed by templates prohibiting guest accounts, ensuring that your organization's rules regarding external participants are consistently enforced.
