We’ve made an important update to expiration policies in EasyLife 365 Collaboration based on your valuable feedback!

What’s new?

We’ve refined the expiration policy logic to provide a more proactive approach. Many of you asked for better precision, so we’ve adjusted our standard expiration policy logic to focus specifically on file activity and modification signals directly from the associated SharePoint sites. This ensures expiration management is more targeted and accurate.

The updated logic will help you to:

  • Prioritize File Activity: Expiration policies now consider file activity and modifications from SharePoint sites, giving you a more precise view of file status.
  • Improve Precision in Expiration Management: The refined policy logic helps reduce unnecessary expirations and ensures your files stay active as long as they are being worked on, preventing disruptions in your workflow.

How it will affect you?

This update streamlines expiration management, providing more accurate and timely control over your files. It helps improve your overall governance strategy by aligning expiration policies with actual file usage, giving you peace of mind and reducing unnecessary admin work.

We’re exploring even more features, like monitoring SharePoint page activities, to offer further customized solutions based on demand and policy performance.

Thanks for helping us make EasyLife 365 Collaboration even better!
