Lockstep

  • Globally Available

EasyLife 365 Meet now gives organizers and participants more control over how polls end and how calendar blockers are handled. This release helps teams close polls on time while keeping personal calendars clearer.

What’s new?

  1. Per-user calendar blocker opt-out

Participants with a work or school account can now choose whether EasyMeet creates temporary blocker entries for their own calendar.

    • Organizers can set the preference while creating or editing a poll
    • Participants can change the preference when they vote
    • Each user controls blockers for their own calendar only
  2. Voting deadline and automatic poll closure

Organizers can now set a voting deadline for a poll. When the deadline passes, EasyMeet closes the poll automatically and prevents further vote changes.

    • EasyMeet stops accepting votes after the deadline
    • Polls close automatically when the deadline expires
    • Automatic scheduling can still book the meeting if a clear winning slot exists

How these updates will affect you

  • Participants can keep their own calendars cleaner when they do not want temporary blockers.
  • Organizers can end polls automatically at a specific time instead of closing them manually.
  • Teams get faster scheduling decisions when a deadline resolves the poll outcome.
