The Certificates section displays and manages the public key credentials associated with an application. This page is part of the application detail view and is accessible from the left-hand navigation.

The Dashboard provides an overview of expiring credentials (certificates and secrets) for app registrations and enterprise applications in Entra ID.

Secrets are password-like credentials that apps use to authenticate. They are only applicable to App Registrations.
