Versioning

All visible settings in the EasyLife 365 Admin, such as Templates and Policies, support versioning. Versioning allows an administrator to see a change history for any setting, open the earlier versions and, if needed, restore it.

How to open a previous version

To view a previous version of any setting in the EasyLife 365 Admin, navigate to the setting and click on it to open it. Then click on the Updated link in the lower right. You will see a version history with timestamps and the name of the person that created the version.

To open an older version, click Select next to the version you want to open.

Now you can browse the older version, you will see a hint at the top of the details section that you are viewing an older version.

How to restore a previous version

Open the version you want to restore following the steps above, then click the Save version button in the lower right. This will create a new version containing the settings from the version you were viewing.

Limitations

  • Versions cannot be deleted
