Notification settings
This section contains settings that can be used to set up notification preferences in EasyLife 365 Identity.
Notification strategy
We support the delivery of notifications via email and Teams. You can enable Teams notifications by checking the "Enable Teams notifications" checkbox.
Teams notifications, if enabled, are the preferred way to receive notifications from EasyLife 365 Identity. Provided that the recipient of the notification has installed the EasyLife 365 Identity in Teams, they will start receiving notifications through this channel. However, you can configure EasyLife 365 Identity to send email notifications as well. To do so, check the "Enable dual notifications" checkbox and configure how many notifications should be sent via both Teams and email before an escalation (e.g. expired credential).
Example: If dual notifications are enabled and set to 1, the final warning will be sent via both Teams and email. Since expiration warnings are sent weekly, users will receive email notifications only in the last seven days before expiration. If set to 2, emails will start arriving 14 days before expiration.
Mail settings
You can configure the shared mailbox used for sending email notifications here. This mailbox is initially selected during onboarding.
If a resource (such as an app or task) has no assigned owner, notifications will be sent to this mailbox.
To update the mailbox, click the 'x' to remove the current address, then enter the new mailbox address.
