Enable guest account management and engine

Guest account management enhances the capabilities of EasyLife 365 Collaboration by extending its features to guest accounts. You can create templates for inviting new guest accounts and configure policies to help users monitor the guest accounts they invite.

Enabling Guest Account Management

By default, guest account management is not enabled. To enable it:

  1. Access the EasyLife 365 Admin.
  2. Navigate to Settings (https://admin.easylife365.cloud/collab/settings).
  3. In the Guest section, select the checkbox for Enable Guest Account Management.
  4. Additionally, in the Guest section, select the checkbox for Enable engine scans.

Verifying Guest Invite Settings in Entra ID

To invite guest accounts within your tenant, ensure that the guest invite settings in Entra ID allow Only users assigned to specific admin roles can invite guest users. While you can use less restrictive settings, the most restrictive option prohibits anyone from inviting guest users.

To verify the guest invite settings:

  1. Visit the Entra ID Portal.
  2. Navigate to Users -> All Users -> User settings -> Manage external collaboration settings.
  3. Under Guest invite settings, confirm that the most restrictive option is not selected.
