Enable guest account management and engine

Guest account management extends EasyLife 365 governance features to your guest accounts. You can create templates that your users can use to invite new guest accounts, and you can configure policies that help your users keep taps on the guest accounts they invited.

Enable guest account management

Guest account management is not enabled in the default configuration. To enable guest account management open the EasyLife 365 Collaboration Cockpit and

1. Navigate to Settings
2. In the Guest Accounts section, check the box next to Enable Guest Accounts
3. In the Guest Accounts section, check the box next to Enable Guest Account Engine scans

Verify Guest invite settings in Azure AD

To invite guest accounts in your tenant, the guest invite settings in Azure AD must be configured to allow Only users assigned to specific admin roles can invite guest users. You can use less restrictive settings, but you cannot use the most restrictive setting as this does not allow anyone to invite guest users.

To verify the guest invite settings:

1. Open the Azure AD Portal
2. Navigate to User settings
3. Under External users, click on Manage external collaboration settings
4. Under Guest invite settings, make sure that the most restrictive option is not used
