Multi-language support

The EasyLife 365 Collaboration App and notifications are available in the following languages: English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Polish, Dutch, and Turkish. The EasyLife 365 Collaboration Cockpit is only available in English.

Please get in touch if you must introduce a new language in the EasyLife 365 ecosystem.

EasyLife always considers the language in the language settings. We ignore the region-specific configuration. For example, en-us (English United States) and en-uk (English United Kingdom) will be treated as English version in EasyLife 365.

Whenever an EasyLife components must decide which language to choose, it will try to find a translation in the specified language. If nothing is found, it will fallback to the default language (English).

EasyLife 365 Collaboration App

The EasyLife 365 Mail App take the browser language when opened as standalone version. The same is valid when embedding the EasyLife 365 Collaboration App in Microsoft Teams. It will take by default the system language. The language can also be overridden by the language settings in the Microsoft Teams client using the App language.

EasyLife 365 templates

The EasyLife 356 templates shown to your users in the Wizard including their title, description, and metadata can also be translated in multiple languages. You can use the language bar settings in the corresponding section.

EasyLife 365 email notifications

EasyLife 365 notification emails are sent by the EasyLife 365 Collaboration Engine. The engine can send notification emails in the supported languages listed above. The language is determined per recipient in the following order:

  1. Mailbox regional settings (only for mailboxes hosted on Exchange Online)
  2. PreferredLanguage attribute Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
  3. EasyLife 365 default notification language

If neither mailbox regional settings nor PreferredLanguage lead to a result, the default notification language as specified in the EasyLife 365 Collaboration Cockpit is used.

If and administrator configures the PreferredLanguage attribute in Active Directory, users are not able to change their language settings in Microsoft 365. If the attribute PreferredLanguage is not set, users can change their language settings using My Account.

See Settings for more information about notification emails.
