Versioning

All settings visible in the EasyLife 365 Admin, such as Templates and Policies, are equipped with versioning functionality. Versioning enables administrators to track changes made to any object or setting, allowing them to review earlier versions and, if necessary, revert to them.

Accessing Previous Versions

To access a previous version of any object in the EasyLife 365 Admin, navigate to the respective object and click on it to open. Then, click on the Updated link located in the lower right corner. This action will display a version history, including timestamps and the name of the person who made the changes.

To open an older version, click Select next to the desired version.

You will now be able to explore the older version, with a notification at the top indicating that you are viewing an earlier iteration.

Restoring a Previous Version

To restore a previous version, follow the steps outlined above to open the desired version. Then, click the Save version button located in the lower right corner. This action will generate a new version incorporating the settings from the version you were viewing.

Limitations

  • Versions cannot be deleted.
  • Key Vaults and Viva Engage keys are not included in the versioning system.
