Template Policy
The Template section provides the tools to customize policies for groups, SharePoint sites, and guest accounts that lack an assigned template. This policy acts as a reminder for resource owners without templates, nudging them to streamline the classification of resources within your tenant.
This policy becomes particularly valuable when delegating resource classification to users who haven't yet been managed in EasyLife. It encourages resource owners to assign templates, establishing an organized framework for classification.
Key benefits of template policies include:
-
Seamless Guidance: EasyLife simplifies the template assignment process with step-by-step guidance, eliminating missing information and incomplete metadata.
-
Enforced Consistency: Implementing template assignment policies ensures heightened consistency across groups, SharePoint sites, and guest accounts. This fosters an organized environment, enhancing collaboration and productivity.
Example
This example illustrates crafting a template policy tailored for guest accounts. You can then allocate this policy to specific resources, initiating the essential workflow and enabling users to efficiently manage the environment.
