Groups

Groups

EasyLife 365 group management is, by default, enabled and can not be disabled. It contains the main functionality of EasyLife 365 (Governance for Teams and Groups). To enable the lifecycle management for Teams and Groups, ensure that Enable Engine scans is checked.

Teams

By default, when a Team is archived, its members will retain write access to the Team's SharePoint site. If you wish to grant members read-only access instead, please make sure to check the option labeled Members receive read-only permissions when archiving. It's important to note that this setting applies globally to any Team that will be archived by EasyLife 365 Collaboration from this point onwards. Concerning SharePoint, this entails the relocation of all Site members (groups and users) to the Site visitors group. When unarchiving, only the linked security group is transferred back to the Site members group.

Viva Engage

EasyLife 365 supports the management of Viva Engage Groups in native mode. To make it work, you need to provide an app access token with the correct permission Create Group; to do so, you need to be sure Enable Viva Engage is checked.
